BRIDGES
My assignment was to research bridges, and not only bridges, but different structure, such as those in the book Build it Bigger. I was then to build two different bridges with the designs of my choice, that i thought would support the most weight. I wanted to use a diagonal design side, because that is proven to hold a lot of weight. on my first bridge, i used a diagonal design base as well as sides, to eliminate cost, as well as have the strength. For my second bridge design, i decided to go with the diagonal design side, but with a solid base. this was more costly, but it was my hope that it would hold much more weight. I was very disappointed with the result of my second bridge. Below you can see pictures, a day-to-day notebook of the building of my bridges, as well as a video of the destruction of my bridge and the results.
